Their Brand Manager replied within 24 hours and my replacement is on its way on very favorable terms. The company has sterling customer support.Thankfully, I can't say whether the device repels sharks, but I can say I feel safer in the ocean with it on my ankle.Update: My new Sharkbanz 2 has arrived. Much improved product. Softer rubber strap which is easier to put on and take off (which I do with one hand to keep my Garmin watch away from the magnet). The magnet seems stronger.
