The adapter came without any instructions, but the picture on the box was enough - there are two USB connectors on the back of the WiiU console, and two plugs for this adaptor. All you have to do is plug it in, then plug in your Gamecube controllers to one of the four front ports. That's all there is to it. I find it refreshing to see such a simple installation, and reliable operation. I'm using controller extension cords with ours, and they work fine as well. All features of the GameCube controllers worked just as they should. It also got the "seal of approval" from my Wii expert (my son)! Summary: Simple, elegant solution to using the GameCube controller with the WiiU. Highly recommended. Review: Very nice.
