Only make it for people that you care about, because they will come to expect it every year!1/2 c. Sugar, 1 c. Cornstarch (really!) 2 c. Flour, pinch of salt, 2 sticks of real butter, softened. Put it all in a huge bowl. Make a claw with your hand, and stir mixture with it until it looks like sand, and all dry bits are incorporated. Pat into your mold & poke holes in it, all over. Bake 40 mins at 325, then 20 mins at 300. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Cut with sharp knife while still warm& sprinkle with sugar. I find this is a bit too much for these molds, so reserve about a third of it and cook it separately. BONUS: get out all of your mixing bowls, do an assembly line, mixing one recipe of dry ingredients in each. Bag each in a zip-lock bag, flatten out and store in the freezer. Let come to room temp and add two sticks of butter & bake.
