The fans actually do n't blow on the Pi chips. They are thermally attached to the case to and the fans blow air across the case fins. They seem to work, but I will test them later. I marked this a 4 star because I had difficulty getting the case halves to properly seat on the Raspberry Pi. Also 4 of the screws were very hard to tighten no matter where I tried to use them. I eventually discarded them in favor the screws that came with the fan cages I purchased. If you sell a case with fan(s) why don't you include the fan cage. I also didn't like the power connector which is a molded two pin unit.
