The price was great; the colors fun, so I thought I'd give it a whirl, trying to imagine what "recycled leather" was.Well, it smells like leather. The outside feels like a cross between leather and paper -- thicker than paper, smooth, great color. Inside, you can see how it's recycled leather. It's as if someone took a lot of leather, ground it up into tiny bits, and then pressed it into the shape of these great envelopes.Bottom line: It's WAY sturdier than paper, great for putting folders that might get some abuse (like my purse), and easily holds at least 20 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
