I bought these in caramel to try them out. They are awesome! They are very subtle, adding a little hint of fun to a suit without being overly sexual. And because they are net, they BREATHE. They don't completely conceal the flaws in my legs, but still they are much better than bare. Would I wear these in front of a jury? No. However, I absolutely think these (in caramel) are appropriate for other court appearances. I am here on desertcart purchasing two more pairs. I can't comment at this time on their longevity, although they seem quite sturdy and as long as i keep the toenails in good order I expect these to last a while. I will update at some point on the lifespan of these tights. UPDATE: these ripped in the crotch by noon the first day. However, since I am wearing them with a suit and not a leotard this is not a big deal to me as only I will know there's a hole. They do not "run" like regular pantyhose so it seems that the hole will stay where it is. I am 5'5" and 115 lbs. I ordered the small/medium and it fit perfectly. I have light skin with light brown hair and the caramel is a good color on my legs. I do not think this color would look right on someone with darker skin. They’ll read as light black hose from a far distance because of the tighter weave, but they’re also less likely to get ripped.
