This is perfect for beginners - going into this journey, I knew nothing about boxing, but "Badass Boxing" has made me feel like I could at least follow a match, and can definitely use these in my routines. I think my favorite thing is just how easy it is to follow along. Each move or term is accompanied by a photo showing you what it should look like, and an incredibly detailed description. While at times I did have some trouble following, overall I found this guide to be easy to follow and so informative. I also very much appreciated the explanations for how to fix common mistakes. I do think I get more out of it because I’ve taken a couple kickboxing classes, but I think a beginner would like it too! Using this book would give a total body workout and put your body in great shape. My favorite part of this book is the Sample workouts. There are 3 sample workouts for each level.
