It has a strong spring and can be installed either horizontally or vertically. The flap is suitable for retrofitting since it is completely inside the duct. Backdraft damper for insertion into 5 inch ventilation ducts. - ⚙️ PREMIUM MATERIAL The housing of the flap is made of galvanized steel. The flap blades are made of aluminum, while the axle and spring are made of stainless steel. Tight sealing and fastening of the duct are achieved by the rubber strip attached to the outside of the draft blocker damper. Otherwise you need 10 pascals to open the vent in a 4 inch duct. The spring is relatively strong on our RKI series the RK series has a weaker spring. Because the RKI has a stronger spring we suggest it be installed after the ventilator with the flaps opening away from the ventilator.
