The first one I have used for several months now and it’s still going strong. I just wanted to get one in black too. These are perfect for the kind of abuse that kids give their iPads,.......and the clumsiest of adults (aka, me). It doesn’t have a screen protector, but those can be purchased separately.Note: when you get this, it has a plastic frame inside. This frame is just to help it keep its shape when you are not using it. There is no need to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to install the plastic frame on your iPad, lol, not that I would be so dumb,......um,.....okay, I admit it,.....I did think that I was supposed to somehow attach it to my iPad and cursed the fact that it would cover the camera, buttons and speaker. But no worries, you can either throw it away or keep it to pop back inside the cover if you switch covers.
