Like the saying goes: buy once, cry once. These are super quality shears that will last a lifetime if you take care of them. They feature micro serrations on one side to "grip" what you are cutting and the other side has a smooth, very sharp edge to make precise cuts. I also love that you can pop off the the little red cap. Under it you will find the nut that holds the two side together. By removing the nut, you can give the shears a deep cleaning. I usually do this about once per year. Again, not cheap.
