The book had all the pages in contact and there was no writing on the pages. Just make sure when purchasing a book used that you buy it in good or new conditions, to insure the book has less wear and tear. Also, this book is volume 1 so it only has the first half of the chapters if you want all the chapters you have to buy volume 2.
