No more timer photos. *by G***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2015* I'm really enjoying this selfie shutter. My hiking group and I have been getting tired of leaping back and forth on rocks with a timer on our phone cameras. This in conjunction with a goby gorilla tripod now allows us to leisurely take photos. One of these was paired to an Android phone, the other was paired to an Apple phone. No additional software was required once paired.The unit pairs easily with your phone as a keyboard. Once it's connected, just go to your camera app and test the clicker to make sure it'll take a shot. Turn off the unit to conserve batteries. Turning it back on will let automatically pair up again with the phone, no additional steps necessary.Furthest I managed to take was at about 35 feet. Camera was on a large boulder, and we were climbing the side of a waterfall. Photos I took of our ascent stopped once we'd hit the 35 foot mark, which was impressive considering the unit is a cheapo BT transmitter.I took away one star for build quality. The battery back is not secured very well. Jingling around in my pocket caused the battery door to slightly pop open. Not an issue to pop it back in, but the plastic wedge that locks it in place is insubstantial, so be sure to keep an eye out for the batteries flying free if you have full pockets. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars None of them lasted long at all! I cannot return and haven't been given the courtesy of this company even offering to send me new ones to see if they'll work. I purchased a total of 4 of these - through 2 product purchases and all 4 do not work anymore - I only ordered them a couple of months ago so, I don't understand. I expected this from someplace else but, not from a product that's also fulfilled by Amazon. Poor customer service by the company to not even want to replace them (i know sometimes you get a bad batch box) or, offer me a refund regardless of the return policy. I have 4 of these in total and none work!! I'd would've liked to have seen this company send me new ones - in the case of a bad batch - as I now have 4 useless Wireless Bluetooth Selfie Remote Control's to be tossed into the garbage. Expense trash! None work - waste of money. Very disappointed.PREVIOUS INITIAL REVIEW:I ordered 2 packs of these and in one the packages purchased here, the yellow one didn't work except for 1 day. The other one seems to be working at the moment but, I was a little upset that the quality was so poor that the other one didn't last as long. I was able to configure my android device to switch to camera mode when it connects. When in camera mode the trigger takes a picture, and the other button zooms in. Then when the Bt device disconnects, it exits camera mode. makes everything pretty useful.This thing works nicely as a selfie or group picture button, and also helps prevent camera shake vs the built in button.FYI: If you keep this connected, it remains as the keyboard device (it seems to work by being an external kb).
