First, I found this book drawing me into its swiftly unfolding plot where I seemingly became one of its increasingly defined characters. Then, as I grew along with Celia, I began wondering about her awakening ability to see, hear, and interact with beings out of phase with our here-and-now reality. Further, I especially was impressed with Celia productively using while normalizing or making invisible the manifestation of this ability whose growth and direction was nurtured by Celia's grandma and the fairy queen, Mira.
