No problem as long as your controller has an input for it. Then finf a route for wires from controller to where you are going to mount the sensor (usually in your gutter). The entire job less than one hour if within 15 ft. Of controller. **Q: I have a hunter "node-400" dc battery operated controller. is this mini-clik compatible with the node-400 controller?** A: Yes there are to wires for rain sensor in node **Q: my ten year old sensor isnt very sensitive (takes a lot of rain to activate it). Is there any cleaning out or "tune up" that can be done?** A: I believe there is an adjustment on the body of the sensor that allows you to choose the amount of rain that will activate the sensor. I chose the lowest setting, and it seems to have been working just fine since I installed it a year or so ago.
