I use it daily to charge my phone from my laptop while I am on the train. (This is necessary as I use wireless tethering to connect my laptop to the internet, which drains my phone battery pretty fast.) I like having something compact in my bag that can be extended when I need to use it. Most other brands I have used are not as good as this one. Usually what happens is that the micro-usb connector will losen up over time and not say plugged in any longer unless I hold it in place. I've been using this one daily for two months and it's still going strong. Kept them in my car for occassional use on the road. Within the first 4 months, one broke and wouldn't stay extended. The second one broke the same way after about 7 months.
