This book has all different themes and topics for math, picture, words, and other really clever puzzles, including some unusually challenging sudokus. This was really perfect. Though some puzzles were a little elementary for my boy, but since it was his first, the level of challenges were just an ideal introduction for him. He is asking for another brain puzzle book now that he just finished this one. I wish Dr. Gareth Moore would make a second volume for this particular book. Another plus was the physical size, it is not intimidatingly big or thick. It's 5" by 7 3/4". The layout of the content inside is friendly-looking, straight-forward and clear. I highly recommend it!
