Review: Worked fine - Worked fine. My treadmill was abruptly stopping and sometimes briefly slowing (which could be made out only while running at higher speed). After application, it is smooth and has not stopped so far (after 3-4 hours). Price on desertcart and on Proform website is similar. Checked with Proform, before buying this, since I was supposed to use wax based (not silicone). They suggested this which was on their website, but I preferred to buy on desertcart due to ease of buying prime items. I read reviews about applicator breaking, which certainly possible due to its flimsy nature. I've seen a lot of people loosening the belt and applying it. I was lazy to do it. So I did by inserting the applicator first under the belt and then holding the belt and applicator, moved them together back and forth few times. I didn't break my applicator. The same lubricant is also sold as individual packs on desertcart, but priced at 9.98$, which would 29.94$ when you buy three. So buying this makes more sense, since this comes with applicator, belt cleaner, magnetic key etc in addition.

**Q: What is the lubricant ?  100% silicone?**
A: This is the "waxed-based" lube that NordicTrack recommends.  (That said, it sounds like it has silicone in it.  That causes a lot of confusion.)  On a phone call with NordicTrack today, they recommended lube part #219168 as a "wax based lubricant."  To clarify the part numbers: Individual tube is #219167.  Single tube in a bag #219168.  Kit with 3-tubes and applicator is #219170. **Q: Does this help reduce squeaky noise coming from treadmill?**
A: If the squeaky noise is coming from the belt yes. If it's coming from the motor or then you might need to spray wd40 on the mechanical parts that turns the belt.

**Q: is this recommended for the new x32i incline treadmill?**
A: Not sure about the new one but worked great for the x11i we purchased six years ago. I bet it will work as you just put the lubricant on the sponges on the stick and slide it under the belt.

**Q: Will this work for an elliptical**
A: I don't have an elliptical, so I don't know.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the Job.

The stuff worked. My treadmill had been sitting up in storage for about a year. When I finally got into a place where I could have it the house again, I started using it. After about 10-15 minutes, it would stall. I was told to get lube for the belt. Got this stuff and applied it, now I can run the treadmill's full workout programs with no stalls. The applicator was a little weak. I thought it was going to break a few times but it held up. But I am not confident that it would last very long after the first few uses.
