There is nothing "mono" about this product and it doesn't need any special cables. The two inputs and 4 outputs can be used in whatever way you want (incl. stereo). The software tool allows you to decide what is left and right flexibly. **Q: Does this product completerely replace audysey xt32? does it produce better calibration results. is the final curve adjustable afterword?** A: Audyssey is automatic and many-channel. You calibrate this manually and it's 2 channel stereo. With a good mic and/or ear, and some knowledge, the 2 channel results from this are near perfect. **Q: Will this allow me to sum 2 channels into a single sub input?** A: The miniDSP 2x4 will allow you to sum the channels.
