Manufactured by Pyramyd Air, this kit ensures your equipment performs at its best. ## Description Repair kit fits these multi-pump guns made after 1995 & they have a compression tube that slides out of the assembly & does not need a special tool (has a cartridge valve & the valve is NOT soldered). It may be necessary to push out the assembly from the front of the tube: Benjamin 397 & 392 guns as well as Sheridan C9 (Silver Streak) & CB9 (Blue Streak). The kit offered on Amazon is a bit of a generic kit with assorted parts. I do know it will not work for older model pumps. The older models have what is called a soldered cylinder and there is a kit on eBay for them. I suggest that you dismantle your gun and identify the faulty parts and compare them to the parts in the kit. I have a 72 silver streak. This kit does not work for it. The only thing I found wrong with this kit was the little O ring for the bolt was not the right size. The rifle was a .177 and I got an O ring for a .22, in the kit. This could just have been a rare occurrence. That is why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. Never the less I was able to repair the rifle and it worked as if it was new. Would I buy this again you bet and I am recommending it to any one who wants to rebuild a 397 or even a 392 as they are very similar.
