Review: Great! And it comes with 50' of air hose. - Shop guys. I’ve become lazy, or is it more efficient? If you use pneumatic shop tools, brad and nail guns, paint sprayers, tire inflators, etc., then the Hromee air hose reel can be your most convenient tool. An instructor once said to me, “Jim, work smarter, not harder.” This air hose reel is one of those work smarter tools. I often go back through my desertcart orders to see how my purchases have endured. This air hose reel is one of those tools my instructor inferred. Unlike some tools, it does exactly what it advertises six years after I bought it. It manages my air hose with ease. What the ad doesn’t highlight is that the retraction mechanism pays the hose back and forth like a good fishing reel. It doesn’t ball up. All the hose fits in the case, EVERY time. It’ll do the same for you, too.
Review: Can it be fixed or not ? Still a good tool , unfortunately with a small unseen problem - I didn’t see that the reel was used when I purchased it , I don’t buy used equipment, but I’m seeing it now when I pulled the Oder details up from 06-2025. I did notice when I used it and that has only been 4 times since I purchased it , that the belt driven hose guide did not move to replace the hose on reel evenly. Not really a big concern at the time , later checking into the problem found the belt wasn’t on the sprocket that drove it so attempted to disassemble and repair when I found that the case was broken where the the internal air connection is attached to the hose and slides into a connection with o rings to keep reel aligned. Tried different ways to repair plastic housing with epoxy’s of different types but no luck so far , does your company offer replacement housing/ parts to repair these things or is it just $80 in the trash and buy a new one ? Just asking what are my options!

I didn’t see that the reel was used when I purchased it , I don’t buy used equipment, but I’m seeing it now when I pulled the Oder details up from 06-2025.
