Starting off with an overview of the industry, and then chapters on anatomy, lifecasting, sculpting, casting in various mediums, hair & wigs, applying prosthetics and many others. Todd writes in a conversational and engaging style and shares knowledge openly. The anecdotes around 'beginners' mistakes were interesting and show that everyone has to start somewhere, but now the reader can avoid those pitfalls with products / techniques. Crammed full of inspiring side profiles of key figures within the industry and the effects they have been responsible for. At 500 pages, this is a real tome but due to the clear chapters and explanations, it's a book to read cover to cover or dive straight in to a particular chapter. There are loads of images and diagrams and comprehensive lists of products and their suppliers. Yes, there are loads of tutorials / information out on the web, but you have to spend time searching - this book has everything in one place.
