We decided to order because we’ve had several bad air quality warnings this summer. Due to high ozone, exhaust particulates and fire ash and smoke from forest, we wanted to protect our airways. We purchased these since they’re lightweight, reusable, breathable, nonfogging and rated for workouts. The masks are perfect for gardening, running errands and cycling. In a pinch you can wear an N-95 mask but if you’re invested in your health, these masks are reasonably priced as they are rated better for aerosols, won’t fog eyewear, stay cool and make breathing easier. It sucks that we have to wear masks to protect our lungs from air pollutants. It makes me realize how much this mask has helped (no more weird coughs, phlegm, etc.) on the bad air quality days. Sadly, it’s also made me realize that poor air quality is happening everywhere to ALL living things. It makes even more sense why we are seeing increases in species die off. Not sure if it’s the shape of my head or the placement of my hair. After a few different hairstyles failed to keep this mask in place, I just cut off the back strap and added elastic to make ear loops. Now this is the perfect allergy mask.I use this mask for walking, jogging, martial arts training, weapon training, and even dance classes when allergens are high. I can breathe easily in this mask, and being able to see the valves work lets me know I have a proper seal. It’s very comfortable for an allergy mask, and I love that I can replace the filters while washing the fabric part.
