I recommend getting a glass one because that one, if you use the original stylus, is immune to scratches. Also, there is this game that teaches addition and subtraction. It's learn math and it's an original DS game. It goes up to fifth grade and I played it as a kid a LOT. I learned so may skills from it that I can't help but recommend it. Also, if you ever want a bigger screened DS, I'd say the DSi XL.
