Not so great for things you'll want more of such as salad dressing. We do the plant-based thing often so these are great for keeping stuff separate but not so great when I want larger portions of something. The little ring popped out of one & took the two of us and a butter knife to get it secured back into the lid. They are leak proof which is always amazing. The Monbento spoon from the Monbento leakproof bowl lunch box is a little too big unless you use the small end to scoop stuff out and that makes a mess. I think these are a little pricey but all of Monbento seems to run around that higher dollar amount. Frankly the quality blows other lunch containers out of the water so, there is that to consider.
