But the White DIms are actually preferable for your needs in my opinion because they not only dim like the products above but they soften the lights which makes them extremely desirable. But as I said on LOW CRI rated cheap strip lights there can be an undesirable color shift if and only if you apply the WhiteDims directly on top of the LED strip lights LED. If a color shift occurs the only solution is to get some sort of gap between the LED strip light by about 1 or 3 mm then the problem goes away if there was a problem in the first place. Some customers have aplastic cover over the strip to begin with, if you have that there is no risk of a color shift. Unfortunately our LIGHTDIMS products are designed and formulated for LED lights and can handle up to 205F. Above 205F LIGHTDIMS get soft and at 350F they will melt. Good productgreat price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective kitchen vent hood LED dimming *by K***. on September 12, 2023* I used these to dim/soften lights for a newly installed range hood, which are way to bright and cool and offer no dimming options. I wasn't enjoying seeing how in vivid detail how old and beat up my range looks every turn on the light!This type of application is easy to install and forgiving as it only requires cutting two circles slightly larger than the needed coverage area and slightly imperfect centering isn't noticeable at this angle.This is a unique product, and it took some correspondence with the seller to get the right kind of LightDim sheet. All inquiries received a prompt response. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works quite well, better than expected, but a bit expensive *by P***R on April 19, 2023* I used this LED light reduction film to reduce the brightness of six porch uplight sconces which illuminated a white vauleted ceiling, as well as give them a slightly warmer tone. I believe the LEDS were probably 5000 kelvin, and now I would guess they are more like 2700-3000 kelvin. I would estimate the film reduced the brightness by at least 30%, possible a tad more, but certainly in line with the description and my expectations. No need to layer a second film over the first. Very easy to apply and cut to desired size. Note that the sheets I recieved were 3.75 inches wide as opposed to the 3.50 inches stated in the description.
