I'm sitting here posting this review from my tree stand on opening day of bow season and am lucky that I was able to get this mount working for my bow setup.At first, the mount and GoPro would not fit on my setup as pictured in the product image because my quivered arrows were in the way. I then tried flipping the mount to the left hand side, but this left almost no room for my hand to grasp the bow. The left hand side also felt out of place as I wouldn't be able to turn the GoPro on and trigger the video with my right hand without reaching across the entire bow.After a few minutes of stewing, thinking I would have to return this mount, I went digging through my bow case remembering that I had a set of quiver standoffs at one point in time. I dug them up and got them mounted, adding approximately 1" of offset to my quiver. I flipped the GoPro mount back to the right hand side and boy was I lucky...it fit with virtually no room to spare. As you can see from my photo, I am running my GoPro in a rugged aluminum housing (for better audio pick-up) as opposed to the standard GoPro waterproof housing. The aluminum housing projects to the right about a 1/4" further than the standard housing, but even that housing would not have fit without the quiver standoffs installed as well.Another point to take note of is that even though I was able to get everything mounted okay, it's still pretty tight in terms of hand placement. It's fairly warm here at the moment and I only have very light gloves on, but if you have really large hands or thick cold weather gloves on, it's going to be tight! Also, if you tend to shoot with a loose or open grip (which everyone should), your fingers will likely block the lense or at a minimum, end up in the shot. Which brings me to my last point...If you're shooting your GoPro in 1080+ wide-mode, you're going to capture EVERYTHING in your footage; arrow, stabilizer, fingers, and maybe even part of your sight depending on model length. This can certainly add a kind of cool factor to the video, as long as that's the result you're looking for.
