How fast would this go away?** A: It's not the typical 1:1:1 (beeswax/butters/oils)... this vegan wax is harder than beeswax so you use less. I use 25 grams of this, to 40 gm butters (mango & kokum) and 30 gm oils (coconut, jojoba and vit E)... then my optional 3ml flavor. Makes 18-20 0.15oz tubes for me, way better than chapsticks. So you use maybe 1/4 cup, or so to make 48. Just a guesstimate, so this 1 pound bag will last forever. It's a great product, and a great deal. You use half of what you would use with beeswax because it's a harder wax. The result is smoother than beeswax, but just as moisture preserving. I used 1 teaspoon of wax to yield 10 lip balms to give you an idea of how much goes a long way. There is a smell not unlike burnt sage - it's slight, but with the lotion bars I could detect it, and with the lip balm it was undetectable (and the lip balm is only flavored with peppermint).
