I use Celestron X-Cels and this eyepiece is a great addition for the money. These fill the gaps nicely.>Good lenses. Edge to edge clarity/flatness with only a barely noticeable distortion at the very edges.>Decent coatings. The view is very nice, although there is not as much contrast/brightness as a high-end brand 2" EP.>Comfortable eye relief. No problems with glasses.>The 42mm is great addition for scanning around and hunting down objects. With a 2" diagonal and at 65 degreesAFOV you don't get the floating in space feeling but it still has the "wow" factor.>Good quality overall. They fit securely and lock down well. They feel solid and have held up well the last year.->Not waterproof or all that resistant. These EP's do not like high humidity much either. Letting them breathe for aminute or two usually clears them up.>2" combos are heavy.
