A: The medium chord offers 20 lbs of resistance.

**Q: how high should the anchor point be?**
A: For most exercises I have the anchor point at a height which allows me to have a level plane when I begin the exercise . For example, for an upright rowing exercise, I set my anchor point and do the rowing motion to insure the plane from the anchor point to the bar is a level plane. I hope this explanation is clear!

Three great things about the Rip trainer. 1) It really provides a great workout, especially for core and lateral twisting and balance. I have always used free weights over the last, almost 40 years, in my workouts. After some major surgeries, I worked with a personal trainer who introduced me to the Rip Trainer as a alternative to free weights. I have found I can obtain the results I want from my workouts without using free weights, although I do still retain a couple of free weight exercises in my routine. I also travel in the winter and will no longer need to join a fitness center during my stays away from home as I will simply take my Rip Trainer along and work out wherever I might be staying. Easy to use, good instructional video, many options for use of the Trainer. Quality is excellent.
