Genuine leather just mean it's real leather, it can be full, top, pebble, pull, suede, composite leather and are label as Genuine leather. **Q: Is this belt pure (real) 100% leather? i mean nothing fake, glued together stuff, nylon or whatever?** A: The on I received was very think fake leather and looked nothing like the pictures. **Q: Why does the inside of the belt look like it is layered or coated from the pics in the reviews?** A: I can't say why the photos look that way. I can say that the belt I bought is a single strip of leather. One side, the side away from me when I wear it, has a smooth surface. The side facing me has a rougher surface. It is not abrasive, but it is not smooth, either. **Q: Does the belt come Larger then 42** A: The description of the belt says it comes in sizes up to 48'.
