I will say that the ear slots are not at the correct height for my ears, but I do not mind. I want my ears to lay a little flatter, anyway, so I just lay the strap over my ears. If you wanted your ears to go through the slits, you could cut them a little for your head size. I am a small person with a small face, so that might affect the placement. I wear it while watching TV at the end of the day, anywhere from 1-2 hours. It stretches well and fits me fine, though it should be noted that it does run somewhat small, so if you have a larg(er) head it may not work for you. As far as comfort goes, it's not bad. It cuts into the neck a tiny bit, but nothing that isn't manageable if you keep your head up high. Time will tell if it accomplishes what I'm hoping it will (less double chin!), but in the meantime, it's easy to use and, as a bonus, is guaranteed to make anyone in the room with you laugh maniacally at the sight of you!
