If you are using it in spurts while cleaning the area you are working on, then it will be approximately 20-30 minutes. If you are using it in more longer spurts with little wiping and cleaning of the area you are working on, then it will be more around 10-15 minutes. I have used it both ways and I recommend using it in the former. **Q: Can I clean the walls with it?** A: You can use it to clean sealed walls but care should taken to avoid damaging sheet rock. **Q: Can i use this as a sanitizer? can i put an alcohol based liquid in this machine or is only water that can be used? i'm not quite sure how this works.** A: Alcohol boils off at approx. 140 and this machine heats to 200.
