I paid $9 versus spending $40+ for large spool offered elsewhere on Amazon.I used this to hand sew a Coleman Stove Top Camp Oven insulating cover out of a Tillman Welding Blanket. I needed just enough to sew two 12 inch seams.It worked well. It didn't melt when using the oven on top of the stove. I had plenty of both left over to create a coffee pot cover.
