This particular Dyson is heavier than most, so a lot of stands are not compatible. I was so happy and relieved to find this one. A little assembly required, but it wasn’t difficult. I do recommend that you put it together on carpet or on a blanket or towel if you have hard floors. The parts are heavy, which is a good thing if you have a heavy Dyson. Once put together, the stand is easy to maneuver to place where you need and is unassuming in size and aesthetic so it goes anywhere visually. My Dyson feels very secure on it and I don’t have to worry about it falling. It also has a lot of appendages for Dyson accessories, so all parts can be kept together. Easy, secure, and efficient.
