If so, please recommend something. Thank you.** A: Some users of this product have complained of long drying times and tiny bubbles in the finish. From my own experience, I found this to be a problem when certain types of thinner are used, even for cleaning brushes between coats. Manufacturer advises against using thinners and I would suggest applying this varnish with foam brushes which give a great result with no clean-up at all (buy a pack of eight and just throw away each foam brush after using once). The varnish is fairly viscous out of the can, but it flows to a smooth finish and dries hard in about 24 hours if you're mindful of ambient temperature (40F - 90F) and don't over apply it. **Q: Can this product go over an epoxy treated wood?** A: I would but I can't find my beans **Q: Rust-Oleum 207008 Marine Spar Varnish 1-Quart . Will this yellow white painted hand rails** A: No. Are you are thinking of polyacrylic? It has been reported to turn yellow, the poly not the white paint, over white paint not simply add a rich "oil like" tint to it. **Q: I have a wooden sign (looks like the American flag) and would love to seal it and place it outdoors. Does this product turn the wood an orange color?** A: I put it on cedar it darkened it about to what it would look like if the wood were wet. Much the same as any finish would. The varnish itself is an amber color.
