Be sure to compress as much air out as possible and place it in a airtight container (Tupperware) and store it in your freezer. The reason for double bagging it and putting it in a container is to prevent it from absorbing moisture and odors. I buy it by the pound and it has stayed fresh and full strength for 9 to 12 months. I use it for a lot of other recipes, as well as in my scrambled eggs, and as a dry rub for my steaks. It can be used in place of cayenne so, if your are heat/spice sensitive use sparingly until you find the right amount for your taste. **Q: Full ingredients list??** A: It lists the ingredients on the Amazon website but the only taste is that of cayenne with a tiny hint of other spices. The flavor is great, but use less than a 1/4 of what any given recipe calls for, because I can't handle the heat level.
