**Q: What flavor are they?    Approximately how many are in the bag?**
A: The taste is like a semi-sweet candied almond with the almonds embeded within the crisp and crunchy baked dough. Definitely better than the Delallo's, Biscotti Brothers and Nonnis. They are small, so I can't say how many are in the bag. I always buy the large 8.8oz bag. You'll never know how they are, until you try them for yourself!

What was intact were very good cookies, but Amazon shipped them in a soft bag. They arrived crushed. Only a couple cookies survived. The rest was crumbs. I recommend them, but don't buy from Amazon.
