Very nice and sturdy. **Q: What are the dimensions for the large pot?** A: 17 inches tall. Approx 17 inches in diameter. I can't measure exact because mine is filled with plants. **Q: What are the inside dimensions of these planters. It says the bottoms are raised, but by how much?** A: Bottoms are not raised by much. I have to use some older clay pots turned upside down to set my geranium pots at the right height **Q: How much potting soil will I need for these?** A: About 35-40 gallons. Or you can put styrofoam chunks/chips in the bottom third of pot, cover with old cloth or screen and fill to top with soil. They look superb and very modern. You could easily spray paint them enay color too given they are a durable plastic. My only concern is this: the largest pot is difficult to move when filled--not only because of the weight, but for fear of cracking the sides given there is a hollow space between the inside soil well and the outside of the pot. Hasn't happened yet, but i'd recommend that you be very careful when lifting so you dont crush it or if sliding it on the ground so it doesnt crack. They actually matched my outdoor wicker furniture . The pots are very good size and they have a removable plug if you are using them outdoors so you won't have a drainage problem. I liked them so much that I ordered a second set of them. They really complimented my furniture.
