It was well packaged when I received it. I love that it comes with the bottom cover and keyboard protector as well. I have to say the bottom protector is matte and stains very easily even with finger prints and is very difficult to clean. The color is exactly how I imagined before purchasing and the fact that it had the Apple logo cutout , that was a plus because it doesn’t show that in the pictures and I was a little worried about that. It fits snug in my Mac and very good quality and it is pretty thick and strong which makes it stable enough to protect my Mac if it ever drops. I actually think it should be more expensive for what it is priced for , the quality is top notch and installation is pretty easy and smooth. The cover also has the Apple logo cut out which I prefer - I noticed that many covers today do not have the cutout - they say that the cover is transparent. The keyboard cover is dark like the keyboard - and like other reviewers, I'm not as wild about it. However, I will use it during the day - especially if I'm anywhere near food.
