Its has been an amazing addition to my canning year. I cannot imagine ever canning without it! Simply Wash and quarter tomatoes, the skins and seeds are seperated as fast as you can crank it. It certanly cuts the time in half. It is an all metal unit, however the handle is wood and there is a plastic grommet/washer at the end of the screen. This grommet failed on my unit just as I was finishing making sauce last year. After finally attempting to contact the company about my issue this year I am impressed with their customer service. They were friendly and easy to contact. Sent me out a replacement part that arrived in just 2 days. Super easy to repair and now my Squeezo is back to whole. I love that you do not need to steam the tomatoes first. Just finished making lots of marinara sauce and the Squeezo worked great. I do wish that it was a little easier to assemble, I always need the diagram to get it right, and to clean.
