Removed the thermofoil completely, sanded down the cabinet surface a bit to remove the leftover glue (mostly done to ensure a flat surface), dusted/cleaned off the surface, then used this product (as well as the d-c-fix application tool kit, which I would also recommend), and the finished product came out great. Uneven surfaces will definitely show a bit so it is important to try to apply this onto a smooth surface for best result. I had no issues with bubbling or creasing/folding of the paper, applied fairly well with the use of the application tools (ordered separately). Appears to be sticking well but only time will tell how long this lasts. Likely this is not a permanent solution, but I would imagine would at least last for a couple years as a very cheap temporary solution. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2023* Took a few tries to get the hang of it, corners and transitions areas were a challenge. Had difficulty getting a smooth finish, decent amount of bubbles, I suggest purchasing a kit that has an exact knife and a smoothing tool to help with application. I definitely chose a more difficult item for the vinyl but it worked out really nicely, totally updated the look of my bathroom! Photos are before and after.
