I think I like the1st album better but the jury is still out ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Barbe Q is sizzling *by C***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on August 31, 2013* Ok, while its nothing that makes me any better than people who only got into the band when the album was finally released outside Finland, I have to admit that I remember having the first album on my PC long before that, and remember importing the CD direct from Finland, so I can guess you can call me a fan.I was suckered into buying the debut on the strength of the AC/DCish single "Spell", and that was a good thing. The album was good old fashioned straight ahead rock (and before we get started, I am judging them as a rock band, not as a female rock band as their sex is irrelevant).So anyway, when the second album was announced I downloaded the singles that preceded it, and thought that the song STFU was brilliant, quite possibly the best thing I have heard by the band.On the strength of the three songs I heard, I preordered the new album.I can honestly say its head and shoulders above the debut, and considering I really liked the debut, that tells you that I really really like this one.There is a bit more variety musically on this one, and there just seems to be a more instantaneous catchiness to the bulk of the tunes on here.From to start to finish its just one great song after another.
