It does not come with any screws or anchors to mount to the wall.I wanted to use an extra long rj11 phone cable but the cable is fixed into the phone not allowing you to unplug or replace with a different length one which is a terrible design.The CID screen lights up. You can also change the contrast of the letters to lighter or darker.The number keypad does light up as wellThere is also a Red led that lights up when ringing on top of speaker grill.The grill in the front is a speaker but only used to announce number keys pressed, if option is turned on and for the ringer, it is NOT a speaker to be able to speak to someone with.There is a boost volume option to make sure u can hear someone and a high frequency tone option that amplifies high frequency tones to assure they are heard.The phone itself takes 4 AA batteries for the caller ID to work, not needed to have dialtone.Phone has memory options to store numbers and call right from screen or by pushing memory button on phone handle.There are also two ringer options, one seems higher piched than the other.I was looking for a slim line phone with caller ID and a load ringer, I just also wish the speaker could of been used as a 2 way speaker to have a conversation with and I wish the telephone cable wasn’t fixed into the phone so you would be able to swap out with different length ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Probably the best of a limited lot *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2019* I wanted a "princess"-type phone for my bathroom that had caller id. After extensive searching, I found only two options, and selected this one. As a phone, it works fine. It is amplified, which is helpful sometimes. The screen for the Caller ID does light up when a call comes in, but it is still so dim that it is very difficult to read unless you look straight at it from a few feet away. It seems that landline phones are a dying market, and few are making the effort to produce a good product. That is too bad because I would have paid more for a phone of good quality that had easy to read Caller ID. This phone is not that great over all, but it is still probably the best available in this format with a lighted (kind of) Caller ID. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cord between the phone and the wall jack is NOT replaceable! *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2018* Phone as advertised. However, somehow unexpectedly the voice "feature" turns on unexpectedly that repeats the numbers being dialed as you dial them when you have turned this feature off, plus the cord that runs from the wall jack to the phone is not unitized with a standard removable jack on the phone end of it. -So if the cord from the phone to the wall jack breaks or gets a bad connection inside it, or the plastic jack at the wall-jack end of the cord breaks that plugs into the wall, neither the jack-plug or the cord are replaceable like on most phones. This means the phone will have to be thrown out when the original cord or the jack on the end that goes to the wall breaks or wear out. -Not good for longevity.
