The soap allows a DE razor to glide better than the cream. But the cream protects against cuts better. They both smell about the same. Maybe the cream as a slightly stronger/more powerful scent but not by much. The sent of the soap stays on my skin longer than the cream. **Q: Can i use this to shave with disposable razors like the mach 5?** A: Yes, with all razors. It’s shaving cream.
