A: I have had several heavy downpours and not much rain seeps through. There is about a 2ft exposure inward if there's wind. As with most fabrics the longer it sits out in the weather the more likely it will lose its ability to repel water. I have sat in the tent during light rain moderate/light rain and you stay dry.
