Of all he received for Christmas, this was the one thing that held his attention and that he searched for over and over. He loves opening the laptop to begin "working". When he reaches for something he shouldn't have or touch he is told "that's not your work". His parents' laptop is not his work. It is amazing how easily he was redirected to his own work with no need to raise your voice or other discipline. He loves to switch the different settings, play the music and dance to it. He also repeats words he hears it say, and always returns the goodbye when he closes it. I saw complaints that a child could pinch their fingers while closing it. That was absolutely no problem. I spent a week with him after Christmas and he showed no signs of loosing interest at all. In fact he was very possessive of it.
