Review: WOW! What a great solution! - I had a buried line running in conduit to a tree for a camera and realized, I could eliminate 2 others from my house if I had another one in the same tree....IPCamPower to the rescue! Worth the money vs. time/effort to run another line. Initially, only 1 of the ports was active, but flipping the switch for that port fixed it. I'm assuming my cables are not as expected. I was VERY happy when it worked. I highly recommend it. It seems well-built and the instructions are fine...really, plug it in and go. If something is not working, try flipping switches (1 thing at a time, also make sure the cable you're using works, etc..). I had a bit of a tough time cramming all of the cables and the adapter into the junction box. I could have left it all out in the weather using the included caps. I'm very pleased. I see no loss of signal over the 2 cameras now running over the 1 cable. Power is good. I didn't measure anything but the video is perfect from both cameras. I'm running an 8MP and 5MP Foscam camera with no problems.
Review: Would Recommend - This does eactly what it says it will do and worked without touching the POE type switch while using it on a Ubiquiti poe device. It's not great with pre-terminated cables if you want to use the "waterproof" connectors. I would not consider them capable of keeping water out but this will definitely help you run two cameras as 10/100 with a single POE cable (of course you'll use up two poe ports on your switch). Would recommend if you can't run a dedicated ethernet line and need two devices that don't need gigabit.

## Features

- Allows you to run 1 cable run to the switch for 2 cameras that are near each other, saving on time and material costs. Set consists of a sender "Combiner" unit and a receiver "Splitter" unit. Plug Combiner unit into 2 open ports on your POE switch or POE NVR. Run one long cable to the location that has the cameras that are nearby each other and plug it into the Splitter. Connect 2 short cables to the Splitter unit and connect the other ends to your camera. Done!
- Reduces cabling costs. Let's say you are installing 2 cameras on each side of a corner. Instead of running 2 cables back to the switch or NVR, you can now just run 1. Works great for both new and existing installs. Easy and Cost Effective.
- Ever installed a camera in a location, only to find out a few days later that you need another camera right by it? What's worse, the switch is on the other side of the building and it took you hours to run that one long cable run. No worries! Just use this splitter set to make your installation much easier and avoid running another long cable.
- The Splitter Unit comes with weatherproof RJ45 connectors, allowing you to fully expose the Receiver unit to the weather elements. Full IP68 Rating gives this unit the ultimate weather protection and can directly be exposed to rain, sleet, snow, ice, and the sun.
- Simple plug n play installation. Works with all standard 802.3af/at POE switches and POE NVRs that use standard active POE. Works on most all brands POE Switches, Cameras and POE NVRs. Don't be fooled by other cheaper combiners on the market that only work on POE Switches. IPCamPower's Combiner works on all POE Switches, POE NVRs and POE IP Cameras and supports both Mode A and B POE making it the most flexible and compatible POE Combiner/Splitter on the market.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why doesn't work with POE nvr?**
A: The IpCamPower splitter should work with most 4-wire PoE systems. If your PoE nvr is using pins 4,5,7 or 8 for data or power then this splitter will not work.

**Q: Is there a pin out diagram for this device available?**
A: I haven't seen a pinout or wiring diagram, but this device puts pins 1,2,3 and 6 from the first port and puts them on wires 1,2,3 and 6 in the cable, and takes pins 1,2,3 and 6 from the second port and puts them on wires 4,5,7 and 8 in the cable. I hope that helps.

**Q: Will this work with Reolink nvr 4k**
A: This will work with any NVR so long as you have 2 ports open on the NVR to the 2 CAM’s. The splitter just divides the Ethernet line, but the ports are the required feature. A standard Ethernet cable has 8 internal wires a POE CAM only uses 4 wires, which is why it can be split.

- If there’s interference between the two CAM’s then to evaluate; test the ethernet wire being used by unplugging one port on each end of the splitter to see if the interference still exists.

Hope this information is helpful

**Q: Anyone use this with two
Ring poe powered cameras?**
A: YES! This should work for the POE version of the Ring Elite camera's including the stick up. Ring's injector is rated at 15V so I would suggest getting a POE + 48V 802.3at injector or capable switch.
