**Q: Can these be mounted directly into sheetrock on the ceiling?  And is everything included in one set (ie mounting hardware)?**
A: As long as fastened into stud behind the sheetrock.
Sheetrock is not strong enough on its own to support the weight.
When hanging items overhead, safety is a major issue, as someone could get injured.
Might be better to contact a professional to install if you are unsure.
