Many items used in the experiments can already be found around the house or picked up from a local dollar store. I would recommend reading through the experiments to familiarize yourself with common ingredients so that you can make sure that you have the staple ingredience and/or household items on hand and then prepare to pick up others as you go, noting which items could be saved and used again for future experiments. My children LOVE doing these experiments and are so excited to tell their friends about them! They want to do them over and over again. The experiments range in skill level from them being able to do it and simple concepts to needing adult assistance and concepts that are above their head. There are fun experiments. It is organized well. The list of supplies is listed and the instructions are easy to follow.
