People had complained about dented cans and the seller must have listened as the cans were double boxed plus additional paper that would make difficult to dent.
Review: Canned salmon a staple in my house - This salmon is every bit as good as the salmon we enjoyed in years gone bye. Salmon croquettes, an old timey recipe, was the best way to enjoy. Make an easy white sauce with melted butter, flour, and milk. Grate onion, season and add salmon with bones, skin and all - just mash it. Shape croquettes, dip in beaten egg, dip in cracker crumbs and brown in medium hot oil til golden brown. It's easier to shape croquettes if salmon mixture is chilled first. Also, the croquettes are great frozen and cook well from a frozen state. Chilling the canned salmon, adding a hard boiled egg, chopped celery, pickles, mayo and maybe mustard makes a tasty salmon salad - a welcome change from tuna or chicken salad.
